Hormone Replacement Therapy in Roanoke, VA

Personalized hormone care for women and men.

Fatigue that sleep does not fix. Weight that will not move despite doing everything right. Low mood, poor concentration, reduced libido, disrupted sleep. These are common, they are often dismissed, and in many cases they have a measurable cause.

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a medical treatment—not a cosmetic one. It requires a thorough medical evaluation, individualized treatment planning, and ongoing monitoring to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Choose Your Program

Women’s Hormone Therapy

For perimenopause and menopause symptoms — hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disruption, mood changes, low libido, difficulty maintaining muscle or managing weight. From $129 per month after initial evaluation.

Men’s Testosterone Replacement Therapy

For symptoms associated with declining testosterone — persistent fatigue, reduced strength, low libido, difficulty concentrating, low mood, increased body fat. From $149 per month, including medication dispensed in our office.

How It Works

1. Initial evaluation — $199. Full medical history, symptom review, current medications, treatment goals, and a personalized plan.

2. Laboratory testing. We do not prescribe on symptoms alone. Baseline blood work is required before any treatment decision. Panels are $81 to $108 and may be covered by your health insurance when medically appropriate under qualifying ICD-10 diagnosis codes.

3. Review and plan. We go through your results together and explain what they show. If hormone therapy is not appropriate for you, we will tell you, and we will say what we think would help instead.

4. Treatment and monitoring. A follow-up visit at six weeks, then laboratory monitoring every three to four months. Therapy is adjusted to your response.

Who This Is Not For

Hormone replacement therapy is not appropriate for everyone. Certain conditions may prevent treatment or require additional evaluation, including:

  • Certain hormone-sensitive cancers
  • History of blood clots or clotting disorders
  • Significant heart, liver, or cardiovascular disease
  • History of stroke or recent heart attack
  • Unexplained abnormal vaginal bleeding
  • Pregnancy
  • Certain prostate conditions or prostate cancer
  • Elevated hematocrit

We review your full medical history at your initial evaluation.
